About Merlot

This red grape variety is famous for its unmistakable suppleness. Exclusive estate production of the vineyards located in the most suitable areas to the north of Arco. An elegant wine of great character with pleasant notes of wild-berries.

Vinified from grapes of our own production, grown in the vineyards north of Lake Garda. Traditional red vinification with maceration of the skins for a 6-7 day period, temperature controlled fermentation at 68-82°F/20-28°C, and short refinement in oak barrels for 6-8 months.

Colour: Garnet red.
Fragrance: Intense with a mixture of ripe fruits and a hint of oak.
Flavour: Dry, complex and well-structured.

It pairs well with red meats, cheeses and tasty soups.
